June 8th THE COAST GUARD BOARDING

I was down below starting to straighten out the cabin, when I heard Gary's voice. It sounded like he was talking to someone closeby and seeing as how we were underway, I thought I'd go check it out. There next to the VICTORIA was the Coast Guard boat. They were greeting us and asking a couple of questions. For lack of knowing their names Ill call them Big, Tall and Driver. Sorry guys. Big says something like, "I'm just gonna come on board and check your paperwork and things" I had just come out and heard this and said,"Are you sure you guys wanna come on board right now........I haven't had a chance to tidy up yet!!" We all laughed and they instructed Gary to keep up his motoring speed while they walked from their boat to ours. I started getting the paperwork for Tall, and gave Big a tour of the head and flares etc. Driver stayed close with the CG Boat (an amazing vessel) Coming up the stairs Big got himself free from the door jam (kidding) and we went back outside where I saw a perfect opportunity for a photo shoot! ! ! First I asked if they minded and within like 5 minutes we were done. At first , not knowing what to expect I have to admit I was a little nervous. However these three cuties (no disrespect intended) handled themselves professionally yet personable. All in all I'd say that it was a positive experience with the Coast Guard. Thanks Guys.
Keep us in your prayers, your in ours (that includes Big, Tall and Driver)
