15th of June The Yellow bird has returned to roost
Stats: We arrived this afternoon to friends and family waving from shore.
Well .......it's been an amazing trip. It was sometimes uncomfortable, inconvenient, downright painful and even boring. Other times we saw things that you could only witness from a boat. We've watched dolphins by the score, huge schools of fish, sharks meander under the boat, alligators wait and birds of many exotic types fly over our bow. But the best thing I've witnessed was how people from all walks of life and social class work together, support one another and break bread at the end of the day. So many wonderful people. Sometimes we helped them and in turn the experience helped us become better human beings. I include all those who have read our blog and laughed at our foolishness, got scared for us, and supported us. The VICTORIA is an old wood boat that will be a part of our family forever through the time spent and experiences we've had on her. We'll continue to patch and repair her till it is no longer prudent. But that sad time hasn't come yet . We praise God for allowing us to take this trip, for Jesus Christ walking beside us and watching over us when we got in trouble and for the Holy Spirit whispering in Garys ear telling him to either travel or wait. Thank you Lord for providing us with a safe way home.
Keep us in your prayers, your in ours
