CONGRATULATIONS TO MATT(NEPHEW) & DEANNA ON THIER BABY GIRL, ISABELLA

This morning came a little to quickly for me. 6:00 AM Gary gets up checks the weather and we discussed what to do next. Do we move on in 10 - 15 out of the south or do we get stuck here till Monday possibly Tuesday. We decided to move on. Turns out it was a very good choice. The beginning was a little rough. The time we liked the whole stinking Navy decided to move a convoy and we got waked from all sides including early bird power boaters. First time we ever got double waked. A Cargo ship went by first with a huge wake, then a power boater (about a 40 footer) snuck in between the cargo ship and us. Gary had time to turn into it but the waves were 3-5. Thankfully we had pre wakeproofed the cabin.

It's 11:30 and we are passing Wolf trap. I learned how to do a dead reckoning today. So get out your charts and see if you can find us on the chart. N 37-23.4 W 76-11.4 Or try looking it up on google earth. From now on I think I'll add this new dimension to the blog for those of you who are following us nautically.

We are in Deltaville, VA. The sky is totally grey with clouds, and we are waiting for a storm to come in. Probably rain and thunderstorms , if it even happens. But we'll prepare by bringing the cat box indoors and put the generator away, or cover it. Its that time of day to start thinking about what to have for dinner. Brittany is sewing her curtains up a hem. Eddie got shore leave, so he's happy. Brittany is keeping Misty awake as much as possible so she'll be less active at night. That would be nice. It was a workout for Gary with the water pushing us along all day, his arms are spent. That mechanical steering is a pain. I'm sure a change is in the wind regarding that.

Keep us in your prayers, your in ours
