Saturday....ADIOS!!! April 1st- Hello Long Boat Key

1st pic- Wendy and I up on the fly bridge of Mike's boat, for a night of fishing, and Seafood festivaling (festivaling?) Only Mike caught a fish. We all enjoyed the festival and a night on the water.

By 11am this morning (or close enough) we left the dock! ! ! After taking pictures of
people that have shared our lives for the last 3 months, we took off. My camera is still
acting a little tired, so sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. If I wack it
a couple of times after turning it on that seems to help. Anyway we are anchored at
Long boat key, FL. On the way here friends Brian and Wendy on the "HARA" (residents at the marina) escorted us here and are helping us transition back into cruising mode. Thanks guys. We'll miss you.

Misty is back on board and is quiet as a mouse, but it is still light out. While staying at my Moms in Bradenton Misty has put on a few pounds. While petting her the other day I realized that it was like rubbing a basketball, really. So......our new stradegy is to leave food out and available at ALL times hoping to keep her sleepy and lethargic. Either that or she may pop. Either way I'm hoping to be able to sleep in the next 2 months. My Mom is leaving for RI on or about May 5th. Pray for her safe trip.

George and Alice (Gary's Mom and Dad) are leaving FL tomorrow morning. If I know George it will be a bright and early start time. If I know Alice, he may be waiting in the car downstairs. :)Please pray for their safe return as well.

Brittany is staying with Grandma Shirley tonight in expectation of her "friend" Zack coming for a visit tomorrow.
