Pics:
Matanzas Fort-it means massacre in spanish I'm told

A Marina for floating houses only-cool idea!!
A huge fishing boat the True North in the making
and a big boat up on a lift
Last night we shared a meal with Ian and France on the VICTORIA. Nothing fancy just a dish of Jambalaya. MMM cucumber salad and nice wine. Early to bed early to rise.........
We spent today resting and relaxing in the brisk current of the Matanzas River. I fished some and did some reading "Imitation in Death" by Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb -murder mystery. No kidding!
Gary was getting antsy and just then Ian called and said they were getting underway. We did the same. Or tried to. Setting an anchor in the Matamzas isn't the challenge its getting it out! Man that was tough.
Just heard over the radio that some guy jumped from a bridge up ahead. Looks like he's swimming to shore. Left his truck on the bridge. Coast Guard has been notified. That doesn't happen every day.
We are now on our way to St Augustine. Actually we are going to anchor on the north side of the bridge. I'll get back to ya if I get a chance.
Keep us in your prayers, your in ours
