Mosquito River.....PRAISE GOD there were no mosquitos to speak of today


Its cooler today, thankfully. Alot of cloud cover. Has any of you seen Invasion of the Body Snatchers where that dog has a human dead? Well as unsettling as that scene was , imagine seeing a fish with the head of a bald man!! We were going under a bridge and just under the surface was this tan almost opaque colored fish. It was about 5 feet in length and it had a big wide head. The "face" had a wide mouth and two wide set eyes. Gary stood up at the same time I said,"LOOK at that!" Gary saw the same fish. Good thing, I'd hate to see something like that without a witness.

Early this morning about 7:30 Gary and I went over to the Veritas to share the computer in exchange for Gary getting a great cup of coffee. The conversation went to the weather and itinerary as well as looking at some great pictures France had to share.

Oh, we saw two pink flamingoes fly right past the bow of the boat and Brittany saw her first floating alligator!! Eddie got another bath today and was very unhappy that he was tied to the stern to let the medicated shampoo work. He's a regular staple up on the bridge now and gets quite whiny if he's not included.

Well before we get to our destination I think I'll shower. When anchoring its all in the timing.
