April 17 Marathon to Blackwater Bay near Key Largo

An early start put us at the Burdines FL gas dock around 8:00. There is a warning sign on the pole with a picture of a massive gas explosion back in 1984. Twenty foot flames and black swirling, how any one caught that picture I'll never know. Above it reads,"NO SMOKING at the gas dock".

We occassionaly had brief pleasant interactions with a nice couple that we really didn't have time to cultivate a friendship with . Mindy and her hubby on the DunLookin. As we were leaving they wished us a safe voyage and I gave her the blog address. So many nice people , so little time.

Ahh, and then we have those who just passed us on a pontoon boat. For the second time. First they were coming toward us. They were going very fast and the girl stood and waved as they went by. Thankfully Brittany was below when this happened. Anyway Gary looked at me and asked,"was she naked??" I'm processing what I saw and said,"nah, it must have been a flesh colored suit." Then like an hour later they come past us from the rear (no pun intended). They're having sex right there on the boat! Both stock naked. In broad daylight. What sick mind
does something like that!. It was disgusting. If we hadn't seen it with our own 4 eyes......ACKY
