Sat, Sun., into Mon 11-8-05- tonight- Oriental NC

Saturday we anchored in Alligator River mile marker 1oo ish. JeanMarc cooked a fabulous meal and Leona made a delicious salad. We ate on the Magali.
Sunday, we anchored at Bellhavan MC. A quiet sleepy little town with a laundromat, a corner drug store and an understanding police officer named Wesley. You see we went into town to get the laundry done and I passed the cop with Edward. The cop asked,"does he bite?" I answer, "not usually but I don't trust him, however he does like men and he is waggin his stubb." So th e cop bends over scratches Eddie's ear, Eddie sits and scratches and yawns, then turns and snaps. Luckily Off. Wesley pulled his hand out of the way just in time. I felt like saying,"Careful, look out he's dangerous...............shoot him.!!" But I didn't..........darn it, I'm just too darn nice, that's my problem.
We stayed in and with the help of one of Leona's pain pills I was asleep by about 7:30.
Monday, we are up and adam and ready to put some water miles under us. Unfortuately we are fogged in. thick as pea soup. We'll wait an hour or so and let it burn off some.
It's 3:00 and we have arrived at Oriental NC.
