Wednesday-pm-WE HAVE PIC'S!!!

A few boats tried heading out this morning in the same direction we'll be going, only to return within an hour or so. They got tired of fighting 5 foot swells at the mouth of the Delaware Bay. The wind was howling so badly that when they got back here they struggled with docking. So Gary made a great decision with hunkering down and waiting out the weather. Haste makes waste, as they say. Besides the weather.. we are waiting for the mail. After all, we're not in a hurry.......it's all part of the adventure.
After showering in the gorgeous new bathroom, we set out walking into Cape May. Keep in mind I haven't been walking for a couple of weeks now. Anyway, we walked past beautiful old Victorian homes (my personal favorites) all decorated for Fall. On one gorgeous bed and breakfast the sign read: "Happily full" as apposed to "No Vacancy". I liked that. The street we chose to walk seemed to go on for miles. The wind was howling as we shuffled through huge, brown, dried leaves. The tree's draped over the road giving us a Norman Rockwell feeling. It definately felt like Fall today. There were ornate moldings of every description on these houses, and Gary and I talked about the maintenance. Most of the homes were all snugged up close together making for a real pretty old fashioned neighborhood. The detail on some of them was just fantastic. It only took like a half hour before my flat little 9 1/2's started complaining and we reluctantly turned around. All morning it had been kind of spitting out. As we got back to the entrance to the Marina Gary said, "Well you were right again Victoria" I graciously responded with "What this time?" He said, "We're back before the rain hits."
We're gonna R n R it for a while and do some school work. It's 2:30 now.
Gary is on the phone right now at 7:43 talking with Roy. Roy was just commenting on how he felt that the Yankee's were lucky to tie the Red Sox in the division. Uncle Roy signing off. :-)
While Brittany and I worked on school work Gary gave it a go at getting pictures on the blog. He's SO clever!!! So we now have pic's ! ! !Oh and if you'd like to view the pictures larger, just click on them. Tonight for dinner we're finishing up the blue claw crabs that Diane so generously provided us. Thanks again for dinner Diane.
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello (Meet the Invisible Man) are entertaining us as we hunker down for the night. After all it's 7:57 !! It's getting late.
PS: the pic is of the horseshoe Uncle Roy gave us for good luck, however there were no instructions given , so Gary hung it whatever way it fit. With all this bad weather we've since removed it and are looking to hang it right side up so the "Luck" doesn't run out of it.
Your in our prayers, keep us in yours
