Sea Isle City to Cape May Tues 10/10

Good Morning, everythings fine. We slept in shifts and we didn't move hardly at all. Not one boat all night. Oh, in case you haven't already guessed, it's raining. Not hard though. We'll wait till it gets a little lighter out and then get underway.
At 11:30 AM we ( I use we loosely) pulled the anchor (or is that hoisted) and are now headed for Cape May, NJ.
We told Eddie that he was going to a fancy marina. He wanted to be brushed and get his nails clipped. On top of being freshly duded up..... Eddie has made other strides as well. Eddie "went" on the boat. We'd been talking to him since last night around 5:30. I'd say "Eddie...it's ok...go to the BATHROOM on the BOAT" over and over. Some neighbors at Viking (I believe it was Patti on the Bum's Rest) that suggested we put his leash on him and walk him around the boat. We were saying his "trigger" words all the while. Gary tried first being an "example" for his "little" boy. To no avail. then this morning Eddie kept walking up to the bow and finally (to our relief as well) he lifted his leg. "what a good boy"!!!!!
It all runs down the gunnel and gets hosed off.

We're passing through Sea Isle City. Brittany noticed a real pretty house and commented out of the clear blue "I bet Auntie Barbara would like that one.....It has a sun on it."
The time now is 2:15. We are about to get swamped!! I went outside to fold up our window covers (they were drying out) and I looked up. All I can see is the blue bow of a boat pushin alot of water. I tell Gary, " We're gonna get swamped, coming up the rear!" I'm lookin at em, an preparing to hold on .....he's right at our port side !!! (port=left)I don't believe it!!! He slowed down!! Praise God. The "Karma" sent out good vibes today.
Pops (George) is part of our home base support team. His link in this adventure is our mail delivery. Donna at the post office suggested that I purchase 3 flat rate envelopes at $3.85 a piece. So after forwarding our mail to George and Alice's, all George has to do is stuff as much as he can into one of the envelopes and mail off to the different addresses we'll give him every couple of weeks. Thanks Pops, ................your the best!
We're pulling into Cape May, NJ. It's 3:36, Bow first if you please. We are told it's just easier when tired Captains pull in bow first. Also easier in the AM to back out when your refreshed. Next door is a beautiful boat called the "Amanzi." Just to give you an idea what we were thinking , we left 2 weeks ago from Newport........The two guy's in the Amanzi left Toronto two and a half weeks ago.!!! The marina we are utilizing is called.......Utsch's.....you pronounce it. We'll be here for a few days waiting on weather to cross the Delaware Bay and mail.
We met Jack K. on a beautiful sport fisher called, "Heaven Sent." He's on his way down to Florida too.
We walked over to the C-View Inn. GREAT(best I've ever had) buffalo wings and just about anything else you'd want. Took us about 20 minutes to walk there and we chatted with some nice people, a husband and wife team that are Captain and First Mate on a 90 footer. That's what they do. Awesome.

9:41 nighty night

Your in our prayers, keep us in yours
