Monday- Waterside Marina workday

1) view is off the bow
2) pic is off the stern, keep in mind its laundry day
3) Bill and Leona
4) our lone trick or treater
Today we are filling water supplies, Gary is changing the oil, I am doing laundry and Brittany is helping where ever she's needed. Soon Gary, Jean Marc, Bill and Brittany will be walking the Propane tanks into town a ways, to make sure there full for the rest of the trip. Normally the propane would last if you were just cooking with it, however we used it as a source of heat as well.
It's hotter then H E double toothpicks today and we couldn't be happier about that. I'm working on my pitifully faded tan while cleaning here and there. The propane expedition has left and I'm content to have some space. Leona heard that there is a shuttle to take us to the market and back again. Excellent. I could stay at this Marina, I'm quite comfortable. At 50.00 bucks a night its like a pricey mooring.
I called the marina we were supposed to stay at for the winter. The one on the west coast of FL. They have had a total staff change, and the woman I made arrangements with is no longer with them.
Greeeeat.............UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT.... New price? $879. a month including electric. Gary had earlier run into a tug boat driver that was passing us. He was figuring on the 500. a mos.
Friends are trying to get us to go to the Bahamas. We'll see.
Gary and Brittany just got back from their little propane excursion. The story is : it was a zoo.
They walked into an unseemly part of town with propane tanks strapped to them. The first place was a Shell station, they didn't fill tanks, so they taxi'd (reluctant as the driver was to put Propane tanks into the cab) 7 blocks to a U-Haul place. "Frank"
reluctantly met them "out back". So he starts filling the tanks. Gary asked, " Don't you have a scale? That way you know how much is in there and how much you need to put in." No we don't need no scale here. Oh, OK. So ,....now our tank goes uptop on our boat, but the other two tanks go down into the boats of our friends. Not a good scenario. Jean Marcs is leaking.
Your in our prayers, keep us in yours

Hey Matt!!
The propane tanks made it back to their prospective boats. It's John Marc's propane tank that has a leak.
Oh, so does our dinghy. :-)
