HAPPY 15th BIRTHDAY BRITTANY ! ! ! Oct 8, 05

Brittany and her friend Zack on our deck in RI.
Brittany turns 15 years old today!! Hard to believe. She is still sleeping as I write this, not hard to believe that she's still asleep though. Its very overcast and it POURED last night. Everything is damp. ACK. I despise damp almost as much as I despise biting insects. BillnDiane invited us over to there place again for breakfast, about 9. They have alot more room than we do and Bill likes to cook. WOO HOO. We're in. Excellent breakfast was had by all and we spent the day avoiding the rain, and visiting. Dinnertime came fast and we went back to The Mystic Casino. Excellent Prime rib dinner, excellent waitress, and very reasonable. Thanks BillNDian for treating us, and for everything. "Your the best"

Oh, Diane came up with a brilliant idea. Post the specs on the VICTORIA. Great idea! ! So here they are.
The VICTORIA is a 38' foot, 1960's Downeast Lobster style hull. Built in New Brunswick Canada. 1" inch spruce planks over 4" inch bent Hackmatack frames, and she is powered by a single screw 454. She runs on gas and burns about 3 gallons an hour, running at about 7+ knots. We don't have any of the original paperwork and so have no specifics on who actually built her. We saved her from decaying in a boatyard in Providence RI. We think the guy who owned her, may have treated her like a cigarette boat, while trying to pick up .............chicks. HEY BUDDY............................ this boat wasn't designed to get up on plane.

My Job

Its not my job to run the yacht
the horn I cannot blow

Its not my job to say how far the yachts allowed to go
Its not my job to throttle down, or even clang the bell

But let the darn thing hit the dock and see who catches hell!
